Our Story
How it all started
It all started in 2019 with a product idea. After some research, I learned that 3D printers are the perfect tools for rapid prototyping and realized that I can bring my idea to life for very little money.
Even though the product idea never materialized, that was still one of my best ideas as it lead me to 3D printing. I spent nearly a whole year printing… calibration models. As ridiculous as it sounds, I only used the printer to improve the printer and to learn how to achieve the best quality. So after this learning period, I started feeling confident enough to print actual organic models such as figurines and busts. I loved how they came out, they looked so cool and I made them in my micro factory at home. Making things feels awesome!
The next step was to work out the post-processing method. It’s about removing the imperfections and preparing the models for painting. it’s a bit of learning curve, trial, and error, but eventually, I found the best method that works for me, so I can produce high-quality pieces with confidence.
The following step was the painting. I always had some artistic talents but I never really used them since primary school, so I had no idea how this will go down. But to my surprise, it turned out I’m good at it. I even sold the very first model I finished on e-bay for a great price. After the auction, I became so pumped… I opened an Esty store… wild, I know :-). It was a couple of months before Christmas and the Pinhead Grogu was pretty popular at the time so I started receiving orders. Real quick it became challenging to keep up with the demand, while I was also working at my daytime job.
The customers love what I do which keeps me motivated. I love the process of making and achieving perfection, while I earn some extra income. It’s a win-win scenario. I honestly don’t ever buy anything that could possibly be considered a nick nack. This is easily one of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made! I bought it on a whim as a big fan of the series but I had no idea how it could ever look like a puzzle. Wonder no more! Comes as an easy setting if you want it to be a cool display piece that transforms but be weary if you like solving puzzles and think it will be even half as easy. 13/10, literally astonished with how much I love this product. I would highly suggest this to anyone that loves horror movies or puzzles. I’m beyond impressed!
